Log :
I started off the morning continuing to edit my hometown press releases which I had gotten back from Jason. Megan had to run down to payroll so I answered phones while she was away from her desk. Katie wanted me to find an add for Salisbury University in a magazine so I marked the add with a sticky note in a couple magazines for her. Then Megan taught me the next step in the process of hometowns. I had to print a separate parent letter for the parents of girls and boys on a water marked paper that said Salisbury University on it. Then I had to print the press release that I had written on a SU letter head. After that I had to separate each student's stack of papers by their county and print out labels with their parents names and addresses on them.
Reflection :
Sometimes it is very interesting working at the PR office especially when I end up writing press releases for people I know, such as girls in my sorority or people from my high school. I also got to see the press release which was written for me when I joined Phi Eta Sigma, the freshman honor society, which was pretty cool.
